It was only a matter of time before I read the Celestine Prophecy, an international best seller, which was originally a publication, but that it has become very popular thanks to the huge positive comments from readers throughout the world.
Technically, the Celestine Prophecy is a novel, an adventure novel to be precise, but the reasons for its success are certainly not in the story itself.
In fact, the book is a spiritual parable, which James Redfield has the opportunity to explain the nine illuminations that compose the Manuscript, and to elucidate them in concepts and way of life examples.
What emerges is a complex conceptual corpus (certainly very complex for those who have never tried any visualization techniques, who does not know what is manifesting, who does not believe that the universe is composed of energy, etc ... but also for others could be a difficult text), which describes the past, but especially the present and the development of an human being.
The evolution involves major changes, this is obvious, but also some surprising points of view.
It is probably unnecessary to be here to summarize the text and describe the vicissitudes of the many personalities involved in this sort of spiritual journey, from Charlene to Marjorie, from father Carl to father Sanchez, from Karla to Wil.
Mainly because the convictions of the individual reader (from pure scientific-materialist loyal to the new age there is always a difference) will be decisive for the interpretation of the Celestine Prophecy in one direction (description of the humanity evolution) or another (a heap of nonsense).
I suggest you to read the book so you can have an idea of it.
I think the book is very deep and full of important ideas, and therefore I recommend it.
